The Festival of Trees and Light Up A Life.
More than $100,000 raised for Hospice Services in the North State.
We can’t thank the guests and sponsors enough for making the 4th annual Festival of Trees a success.
“We reached our goal, thanks to all our sponsors, attendees and superb staff who supported this wonderful holiday event,” said Maggie Redmon, President of Mercy Foundation North.
“We sold out the event and filled every sponsorship opportunity. Our tree designers truly outdid themselves and the décor was spectacular. We are grateful for this outpouring of support,” Redmon added.
Along with the Festival, the annual Light Up A Life events offered a lovely observance for those missing loved ones during the holidays.
The November events in Redding and Mt. Shasta, and the December event in Red Bluff drew families who wanted to honor loved ones who have died and needed a “safe space” to grieve. The holidays can be difficult, especially when so many are embracing joy.
“Light Up A Life ceremonies are so important to our Hospice families,” said Charlotte Haisch, Director of Home Health and Hospice. “We really appreciate our staff, volunteers and community supporters who make these events impactful for families.”
